James Franco Kisses David Letterman and Sean Penn (VIDEO)

James Franco appeared on David Letterman Friday night to talk about his new film Milk. In the film, Franco’s character kisses Harvey Milk, played by Sean Penn.

Letterman was very interested in the liplock scene and questioned Franco at length about the encounter. Franco admitted to being very nervous about getting it right. Letterman was incredulous and said, “Do you really want to be good at kissing a guy?”

Franco smiled and said, “If you want it, I’d be willing to kiss you right now.” He moves in close and gives Dave a sample.

The film, which opens November 26, tells the true story of California’s first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk, a San Francisco Supervisor who was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone by San Francisco Supervisor Dan White.

Sean Penn Gives Madonna a Shoulder to Cry On

If this isn’t odd news…word on the street or should I say People magazine is reporting that Madonna and her ex-husband Sean Penn were seen having drinks together at Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan last Wednesday.

Don’t get too excited. Onlookers said that they were not affectionate in any way but did seem to be good friends. It’s funny but we don’t ever remember hearing about Madonna and Sean chumming around before or being friends on any level, for that matter.

A friend close to the Material Girl said that she in not heartbroken and that she is handling the divorce with Guy Ritchie very well. With her Sticky and Sweet tour well on it’s way, she has thrown herself into her work and is spending time with her three children.

Madonna and Guy were married for eight years and we are guessing it was probably eight very long years for Guy.

Travis Barker Files Lawsuit Two Months After Plane Crash

Travis Barker, punk musician and former Blink-182 drummer, has filed a lawsuit against several companies whose actions he claims caused the plane crash in South Carolina on September 19, 2008. He was badly burned and several of his friends were killed after the charter Learjet burst into flames after an aborted takeoff.

Barker is suing Global Exec Aviation, a Long Beach charter company, as well as Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and an airplane maintenance company. The suit seeks damages for pain and suffering, disfigurement, loss of earnings as well as medical and legal expenses.

The suit claims that the companies named are responsible for improperly operating and maintaining the Learjet that overshot the runway and burst into flames. The lawsuit further alleges that the Learjet was ‘defective’ and faults pilots, claiming they were improperly trained and should have tried to take off. Two pilots were killed, along with Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, and his bodyguard, Charles Moore Still.

In a statement, Goodyear spokesman Ed Markey said it was “unfortunate” the suit was filed before the NTSB investigation is finalized. “It is too early to speculate on a cause.”

Thelma Martin Still, who lost her son in the crash, has joined the lawsuit, seeking damages for grief and sorrow, funeral expenses and loss of earnings.

Paul Newman: Last Will Details Revealed

The details of the late actor Paul Newman’s last will have been released this week. The will, signed on April 11, 2008 by Newman, was filed in Connecticut. As expected, the actors wife Joanne Woodward will inherit all property and personal possessions.

He left his Oscar and other awards to Newman’s Own Foundation, as well as interest in Newman’s Own and Salad King. All profits from those business holdings are to be distributed to charity. Newman’s airplane and race cars are to be sold and the proceeds will revert back to the estate.

Newman retired from acting in May 2007 and was diagnosed with cancer in March 2008. He died at home in Westport, Connecticut, surrounded by family on September 26, 2008.

Paul Newman was survived by his wife Joanne Woodward, daughters Susan and Stephanie from his first marriage, daughters Nell, Lissy and Clea with wife Joanne, and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his son Scott.

Czech born model Karolina Kurkova has been dubbed the Sexiest Woman in the World by E! entertainment television. We have to applaud their choice because “she of the mysterious belly button” is definitely at the top of anyone’s list. The recent super sexy 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show definitely showcased Kurkova’s assets to the Nth degree.

Peruvian fashion photographer Mario Testino said: “The proportions of her body and her face, as well as her energy level, make her a model who would fit into almost any moment.” Marc Jacobs has said: “She has an angelic look with a dark side, she’s sweet and fun and looks like she could be an evil bewitching child.”

Coming in second spot is equally stunning Bar Rafaeli. The rest of the field, in the order of their 2008 ranking, are Angelina Jolie, Gisele Bundchen, Scarlett Johansson, Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Penelope Cruz, Manuela Arcuri and Shakira.

Prince William was photographed peeing on a fence during a break at a polo match and now pictures of his manhood are all over the internet.

Perez Hilton posted links to the photos, causing the site that posted the pics to crash. Of course now Prince William’s package is plastered all over the internet, so if one link fails, there are many others to choose from.

Prince William made headlines earlier this week as rumors spread that he is behind the Paris Hilton and Benji Madden split, however, Hilton claimed she is still in love with Madden in an interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning.

Peaches Geldof Cheated on Max Drummey with Faris Badwan (PHOTOS)

Peaches Geldof, British socialite and occasional broadcaster, has been living on the edge over the past few weeks. The daughter of rocker Bob Geldof reportedly had some kind of marriage crisis with husband Max Drummey in late October and ended up in her Brooklyn apartment with her ex-boyfriend Faris Badwan.

While the two were hold up, Badwan snapped a few pictures and posted them like trophies on his Facebook page. One photo in particular shows Peaches’ tattoo of an open book with a noose hanging from it. She got this when the two were a couple, apparently signifying his ‘ownership of her’.

The photos were taken on October 27th and the couple disappeared the next day amid rumors that Geldof had checked into a rehab facility. Peaches and Badwan, of the garage rock band The Horrors, surfaced two weeks later on November 11th.

It would seem that the honeymoon is over for Max and Peaches. They wed in Las Vegas on August 5, 2008. Their three month marriage appears to be on the rocks. Drummey, an American, is with the band Chester French.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden Are Just On a Break

If anyone could get to the bottom of Paris Hilton and Benji Madden’s break up it’s Ryan Seacrest. Today the heiress was on Ryan’s radio show KIIS-FM and put a stop to the rumors that she dumped Benji.

“You know, I love him. He’s such an amazing man and he’s my best friend and he’s been so great to me and so loyal. He’s an incredible person. We’ll always be very close. We’ll see what happens in the future. I’m still in love with him.”

As for the reason behind the split, she said that they are both extremely busy with work and travel. Neither one dumped the other, the decision was mutual between “two adults.”

Hilton said that the two talk daily and have even seen each other. One has to wonder if the recent run in that she had with her ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos had anything to do with the split? Sarah Palin pardoned a turkey at a farm in Wasilla, Alaska, then conducted an interview afterward while turkeys were being slaughtered in the background.

Cameras rolled for Palin’s post-pardon interview as a worker at the Triple D Farm and Hatchery began processing turkeys behind her, stuffing them headfirst into the killing cone.

There seems to be a real disconnect in this country about where our food comes from. It doesn’t originate on the shelves at your local supermarket. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m a meat eater and consume it on a regular basis, however, I am acutely aware of where it comes from.

The media is, of course, having a heyday over the video and I expect a very strong reaction from the PETA wing nuts.
