John McCain made his first post election television appearance last night on Jay Leno, seven days after his loss to Barack Obama. He told the night show host that since the election he’s been sleeping like a baby - sleep two hours, wake up and cry.

The two biggest late night talk show hosts are forging forward. Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien will both be back on air January 2nd. The duo will not be using their writers. Since the Writers Guild of America strike began, the late shows have been airing reruns.
