Janet Jackson, 42, was rushed to a hospital after suddenly becoming ill during a stage sound check in Montreal, Canada on Monday, two hours before a scheduled performance.  The singer was in the city to perform on her Rock Witchu Tour.  Jackson is reportedly being monitored for a mystery malady.

The tour is her first in 7 years and has hit a few bumps in the past few days.  On Friday she canceled her Detroit show which was scheduled for Saturday, citing ‘production constraints’.  We’re not sure what that entails but that show is now rescheduled for the end of October.  No word on the new date for the latest cancellation.
