Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr. was found dead by his mother on Saturday in his Woodland Hills, CA home.

The 20-year-old had been out the night before and returned home around 5:30am.  Young’s mother discovered him unresponsive in his bed around 10:30am.  He was pronounced dead when paramedics were unable to revive him.

Although an autopsy was performed on Monday, the cause of death will not likely be determined until the toxicology reports come back, which could take up to eight weeks.

Andre Jr. was named after his father, who’s real name is Andre Romelle Young.

A spokesperson for Dr. Dre issued a statment saying he “is mourning the loss of his son. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”
