‘Nashville Star’ Winner is Melissa Lawson
Arlington, Texas native Melissa Lawson won the coveted title on NBC’s hit show Nashville Star. Winning is just the beginning for Melissa, who will perform her new single What if it All Goes Right live at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing on August 12th. It will be aired on NBC’s Today Show. The song was produced by country star John Rich.
The 32 year old is the mother of five boys. She will take home a recording contract from Warner Bros. Records. What an opportunity this will bring for Lawson and her family. The singer paved her way to success by holding tight to the notion that it isn’t what size jeans you wear but rather the song and the voice. Bravo!
Congratulation to Melissa and may her ‘American Dream’ be realized! To read the full story check it out with our friends at Starpulse.
