Sophie Monk, Australian singer, actress and model, took the stage at Comic Con at the San Diego Conference Center yesterday to promote one of her four films in post production, Spring Break ‘83′.

The film is the story of four friends who were bullied in high school and decide to take out their revenge against the now college freshman while they are on Spring Break in 1983.

The film ran into trouble early on and temporarily shut down when the production company couldn’t make payroll for the cast. They have apparently gotten that little issue behind them and wrapped the project.

Monk, who dated Benji Madden from 2006 to early 2008, has more recently been photographed with Ryan Seacrest. Madden’s rebound romance was Paris Hilton. The two are reportedly engaged.
