Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook head to divorce court today in Long Island, New York. The proceedings will be open to the public at the request of the 54 year old former supermodel.

At stake will be the custody, visitation rights and child support of the couples two children, Sailor, 9, and Jack, 12. The younger child was born to the couple. The older son, adopted by Cook, is Brinkley’s child with a previous husband Richard Taubman. Brinkley has been married four times and has an adult daughter Alexa Ray Joel, with ex husband Billy Joel.

According to court documents, Cook began an affair in 2006 with his 18 year old assistant Diana Bianchi. He then paid her $300,000 for her silence. According to ET, she will be called to testify at the trial. Also expected to testify is fitness model Carri Lyn Ciamarra, who entered into a relationship with Cook following his split from Brinkley.
