Actress Heather Locklear has entered a facility in Arizona to be treated for anxiety and depression. Locklear’s publicist has confirmed this information to People:

“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation for her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential matter and no further statement will be released.”

Friends have said that Heather has had a rough year. With her divorce from Richie Sambora and his arrest in March for driving drunk with the couple’s daughter in the car, there has been much to worry about. I am sure all the media attention Denise Richards is getting can’t be sitting well with Heather either. Richards hooked up with Sambora shortly after Locklear and the rocker separated.

Jack Wagner, who has been dating Locklear since April also made a statement to People:

“Anyone who has the courage to seek help in order to live a healthy life gets my support 110 percent.”
