Britney Spears Granted Overnight Visitation Rights (Photos)
It was a good day in court for Britney Spears. She appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court for a hearing that included her ex husband Kevin Federline and his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.
The first order of business was a change of lawyers for Spears. She informed the court that she will no longer be represented by Stacy Phillips. She has returned to her previous legal representative Laura Wasser.
The closed door session included testimony from parenting coach Lisa Hacker, who has observed Britney with her young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. People magazine indicates the pop star has been granted overnight visitation rights with her children. Federline and Spears are due back in court on July 15 for another hearing.
Federline appeared in court wearing a conservative suit and tie. Britney, accompanied by her father Jamie Spears, wore a demure white blouse and khaki tan capri pants with high heeled sandals. She and her bodyguards made a side trip for some shopping at Fred Segal in West Hollywood after the court proceeding. Check out those photos below.
