26-year old rapper Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., better known by his stage name Lil Wayne, claimed in 2005 that he was the best rapper alive and now his sixth studio album, the much hyped, highly anticipated “Tha Carter III” was finally released Tuesday.
After nearly a year of “leaked” tracks and missed release dates, it is estimated that sales could hit nearly a million copies after the dust settles next week.
“Lollipop,” the first single from “Tha Carter III” currently sits at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 list.
