Sharon Osbourne announced yesterday that she is leaving the X Factor show after a four year run. Sharon’s decision does not come as a surprise to many who have been speculating that she was unhappy during the past season.

Sharon, wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, is said to have quit because of a fight over pay and disagreements with Danni Minogue, who is also a judge on the show.

Sources involved with the show said that Sharon was jealous of Simon Cowell and Danni Minogue’s close relationship. Osbourne was reportedly asking for an absurd pay raise that got shot down by show exec’s.

A friend of Sharon’s is speaking on behalf of her friend and said:

It is what it is. She has done four years which is a long run and all good things have to come to an end. She is still filming in the U.S., America’s Got Talent is out next week and she has just done another series over there. She is doing a huge variety show and she has got a couple of documentaries she is doing. So she has got plenty of stuff on - don’t worry about that.”

Although extremely outspoken, Sharon has always seemed to be a savvy business woman and knows what she wants and usually gets it. Sharon may be better at heading her up her own projects in the future - that way she can call all of the shots.
