Boston Red Sox’s Coco Crisp was hit on the right hip by Tampa Bay Rays pitcher James Shields during the second inning of a baseball game Thursday night. Coco charged the mound, dodged a punch from Shields and landed a few of his own before being tackled to the ground by Tampa Bay catcher Dioner Navarro. A bench-clearing brawl between the Rays and the Red Sox ensued.

Then at the end of the fourth inning, a fight broke out in the Red Sox dugout between Manny Ramirez and and Kevin Youkilis, resulting in Youkilis being escorted to the clubhouse by trainer Paul Lessard.
