Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have signed a three year lease on Chateau Miraval, a pre Roman style estate said to be worth $70 million. The palatial 35 bedroom mansion is located in Brignol, France.

The beautifully manicured grounds are bordered by woodlands and include 20 fountains and a variety of stone walled terraces planted with 13 different varieties of olives. Chateau Miraval estate contains a lake, vineyard, and outdoor and indoor pools. The interior features his and her gyms with sauna and jacuzzi and a huge banquet room.

The Jolie Pitt clan descended upon the French Riviera with children in tow nearly a month ago via private jet with a team of nannies and a security detail. They enjoyed a temporary stay at the breathtaking Villa Maryland in St. Jean Cap Ferret as the guests of billionaire Paul Allen, one of the founders of Microsoft.

Allen made the property available to the Hollywood celebrities while they searched for a more permanent location to spend the next few months. Now that Angelina’s official duties at the Cannes Film Festival are finished, the family will move into Chateau Miraval. Neighboring properties belong to Vanessa Paradis, Bono, Johnny Depp and David Beckham.

No word on what the financial implication is to secure a three year lease on a $70 million property. Perhaps the deal will be financed by the sale of the exclusive first photos of the couples twin babies, said to be worth a cool $10 million.
