Speculation about actress/singer Lindsay Lohan and her DJ sidekick Samantha Ronson has been running rampant lately. Lindsay’s ever loyal family continue to squash each uproar, insisting that the two are just friends.

While in Cannes, Lohan and her “friend” attended P Diddy’s yacht party. The pair appear to have taken their friendship to another level or at least decided that public displays of affection are okay. The two have been photographed holding hands and in compromising embraces and now Lindsay has been photographed kissing her favorite DJ’s neck.

Does anyone really care if the two are indeed a couple? Lohan’s past love life has been jumping from one guy to the next - never sticking with anyone for more than a quick tryst. Suddenly it seems to be all about girls since Lindsay returned from her whirlwind bed hopping man fest in Italy at the end of December.

Poor Dina Lohan is starting to look and sound like a fool. Last week while promoting her new reality show Dina said:

They’re best friends. They’re just friends. It’s so silly. We actually laugh about it now. It really does hurt…but you develop thick skin. You have to ignore it.”
