During a call to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, AI producer, Nigel Lythgoe, dropped a few hints about the season finale.

One of the hints included appearances by “some young brothers” and “the biggest star in the world right now,” Lythgoe said.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out he is talking about Miley Cyrus and her sidekicks, the Jonas Brothers.

The battle of the Davids will have 16-year-old David Archuleta and 25-year-old David Cook singing three songs each. Music industry legend, Clive Davis, will pick the first song, “Idol” viewers will choose the second song via an online poll, and the singers will choose the third song themselves.

The two-night season finale airs tonight and tomorrow night at 8/7c on Fox.
