Miley Cyrus has a new album set for release on July 22nd. She debuted a new single, 7 Things yesterday on syndicated radio show Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo. The 15 year old is clearly moving full speed ahead after taking a mega dose of media flack over her recent Vanity Fair photo shoot.

The song describes a painful breakup and all of the things that the teen hated about the relationship. We don’t know if Miley is speaking from experience or is simply relying on the wisdom of others in the creation of the lyrics. As busy as she has been, it seems unlikely she has been involved with a boyfriend so we have to believe it is not her angst that is being portrayed.

Miley will hook up with The Jonas Brothers and New Kids on the Block this coming Saturday, May 17th to perform at Z100’s Zootopia. Looks like the mega star is pushing forward and we predict that it won’t be long and the bare back photos will be a distant memory for most of her fans. The photo above was taken at Wango Tango Fest, where Miley performed for the crowd this past Saturday.
