Beyonce’s New Edgy Kid & Baby Fashion Line Ads
House of Deréon is a fashion line introduced by singer Beyonce Knowles and her mother Tina Knowles. The style and concept was inspired by three generations of women in their family. Beyoncé has an active role in the creative area of the company, overseeing concepts and approving new designs.
The business was started in September 2004 and the brand was expanded by Jay-Z and Solange Knowles, who launched a junior line call Dereon, which is geared toward younger consumers. The tag line for the brand extension is “Where the sidewalk and catwalk meet”.
The latest line addition is for the very young consumers and is branded Dereon Baby. The singer will be able to put some of those offerings to good use now that she is expecting her first child. The media has been in high buzz mode about Beyonce’s pregnancy and quickie wedding.
The edgy ad at the top of this story shows one youngster in spike heels. Hopefully it is a stab at playing dress up and not an intended accessory for the child’s outfit.
Beyonce and Solonge are often featured in their advertising. Check out more print ads from several of the collections below.
