Rob Lowe and his wife Sheryl Lowe thought they had the upper hand when they stormed the media with their nanny-gate woes. Three members of their household staff joined forces in their claims of sexual and verbal harassment, wrongful termination and non payment of wages. The actor and his wife quickly filed lawsuits in an attempt to quell an apparent employee revolt.

Rob Lowe went to the media with his own allegations that his employees were attempting to blackmail and extort money from the couple. The ‘he said, she said’ accusations between the Lowe’s and nanny Jessica Gibson have resulted in lawsuits on both sides. In fact, Lowe has filed suit against Gibson, former private chef Peter Clements and another nanny Laura Boyce, claiming they conspired in a $1.5 million extortion scheme.

Now Boyce has filed her own countersuit with the assistance of famed lawyer Gloria Allred, claiming Sheryl Lowe was extremely sexually offensive, behaved in a perverted, disgusting and crude manner, walked around naked, completely exposing herself. She also claims wrongful termination against the couple, has made an unpaid wage claim and has cited several labor code violations.

This battle comes 20 years after Lowe’s 1988 sex scandal, in which he was caught on tape having sex with a teenager. The actor was involved in a sex scandal over a videotape of him having sex with two females, one of whom was sixteen. The incident occurred in Atlanta while Lowe was attending the 1988 Democratic National Convention. Lowe has asserted that he did not know that the second girl was underage, and it was confirmed that the two had met at a bar, which the girl entered by lying about her age.

Further complicating the issue was another part of the same tape that leaked at the time, showing Lowe, a young American model called “Jennifer,” and “Justin Morris” having a menage a trois in a hotel room in Paris. This part of the original tape was sold as one of the first commercially available celebrity sex tapes, damaging Lowe’s public image.

Lowe entered a rehabilitation clinic for alcohol and sex addiction. Eventually, his career rebounded, and Lowe mocked his own behavior during two post-scandal appearances as host of SNL. A deposition of the Hollywood actor and his wife is set for May 19 and 20, respectively, in Santa Barbara, Calif., where they live.
