Heather Locklear & Denise Richards Bikini Matchup Photos

Heather Locklear, 46, and Denise Richards, 37, used to be best buds. That all ended after Denise hooked up with Heather’s ex Richie Sambora. Though the relationship eventually waned, the rivalry continues between the once close neighbors and confidants.

Denise and her young daughters by ex husband Charlie Sheen, are currently working with Ryan Seacrest Productions on the development of a reality television show that will appear on E! this summer. The project will show the actress and her children getting their lives back on track after the marital split. Seacrest’s production company also produces Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which has recently been picked up for a second season.

Heather and her daughter are also working through some issues. Ten year old Ava was in the car with her father, Sambora, last month when he was arrested for DUI. He has apparently escaped a charge of child endangerment. His next court appearance on May 7, 2008.

Speculation about Locklear mental state was raised after a 911 call came in to LAPD on March 10th, indicating that a woman had threatened suicide. Paramedics were turned away by the actress, who reported that everything was fine at the residence. The call was reportedly made by Locklear’s personal physician who was concerned for her well being after speaking to her in an earlier phone call.

Richards and Locklear have both made a media splash this week with bikini photos in Hawaii. Because of their rivalry, we decided to do a side by side comparison. It is obvious that both women are in excellent physical condition - no doubt making time for workouts on a regular basis. Nine years separate the pair so if we have to chose, we’d say the nod must go to Locklear at age 46, who can still wear a bikini with no worries.
