Actress Cate Blanchett, 38, and her playwright husband Andrew Upton, 41, welcomed a new son on Sunday. The birth took place in Sydney, Australia.

Us magazine reported that the power couple named their third son Ignatius Martin Upton, who weighed in at 8 lbs., 6 oz. His older brothers are Dashiell, 6, and Roman, 3.

Cate provided the following quote to Australia’s Herald Sun:

I do love being pregnant but it isn’t something that we plot and plan the time to do. You have to look at how having another child will affect the kids you do have and adore, but if it happens, it is fantastic.”

Blanchett has won numerous awards, including an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in the film The Aviator.
