Samantha Power Resigns After Calling Hillary Clinton a Monster

After a faux pas that may further split the Democratic Party, Barack Obama’s former foreign policy advisor, Samantha Power, has resigned.

In a statement issued after the Clinton campaign demanded her resignation, Power said “I made inexcusable remarks that are at marked variance from my oft-stated admiration for Senator Clinton and from the spirit, tenor, and purpose of the Obama campaign.”

The controversy stems from an “off the record” comment Power made in an interview with The Scotsman newspaper.

“We f***d up in Ohio,” Power told the Scottish daily, referring to the Illinois senator’s loss to the former first lady in the midwestern state in Tuesday’s primary.

“In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio’s the only place they can win,” Power was quoted as saying.

“She is a monster, too — that is off the record — she is stooping to anything,” Power said.

“You just look at her and think ‘Ergh.’”

Ah, politics. Some things never change.

Unfortunately for Ms. Power, she’s right. Hillary is stooping to anything. If she’s been pressured to resign by Clinton, why isn’t Clinton being pressured to resign her run for her nasty, extremely hypocritical behavior.

If Ms Powers must resign for telling the truth, then Mark Penn too should resign for stooping to evil by suggesting that Obama was a junkie during a live interview with Chris Matthews (Hardball).

Moreover, besides waiting on Hillary to release her Income Tax statment (after a year), when will she send those 30 cattle and ten chickens (or was it horses) to Obama’s grandmother for insulting the Kenyan culture? Why’s no one talking about that.

Hillary should resign! What a B.
