Annie Leibovitz Famed VF Hollywood Covers 1995-2008 (Photos)

Annie Leibovitz, famed photographer, has been shooting the wildly popular Vanity Fair Hollywood issue since 1995. The three page foldout covers are a heavily sought after depiction of the years most interesting crop of celebrities. We’ve put together what we think are some of the more interesting covers, including one featuring Scarlett Johansson in naked splendor. She also captured Demi Moore nude in a painted on suit.

Anna Lou ‘Annie’ Leibovitz, 58, whose style is marked by a close collaboration between the photographer and the subject, joined Vanity Fair in 1983. Prior to linking with VF, she shot the famous 1980 nude photo of John Lennon and Yoko Ono kissing. She enticed Lennon to do the shoot with a promise that it would land them on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

Our premiere shot is entitled 2008 Fresh Faces. This Hollywood issue hits newstands today, March 3, 2008. The select group of beauties includes Emily Blunt, Amy Adams, Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, Alice Braga, Ellen Page, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Banks, Ginnifer Goodwin and America Ferrera.
