People magazine was the first to report that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony are the proud parents of a set of twins. The babies were born shortly after midnight on Friday in New York The baby girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighted 5 lbs. 7 oz. Her brother was born at 12:23 a.m. and his weight was 6 lbs.

According to Lopez’s manager Simon Fields, “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon. The twins are the first children for 38 year old Lopez. Marc Anthony, 39, has 3 other children, bringing his total kid count to 5.

Lopez announced her pregnancy on November 8, during a Miami concert. Congratulations to the happy couple. We can’t wait to see those first baby photos.
