Could Sam Lutfi Lead to the Demise of Britney Spears? Chilling Details
Although very few details are available about what caused the fight between Sam Lutfi and Britney Spears last night, it once again raises chilling questions about Lutfi and his relationship with Britney.
Britney met Lutfi last year just after a restraining order was issued against him by a former pal, Danny Haines, who had been a close friend for two years.
Bitten and Bound received an email in December from Haines’ friend, Ken Dungey, asking us to please get word to Britney Spears that her involvement with Sam Lutfi puts her life in danger. Haines has since received an email from Sam Lutfi’s sister’s address which sounds very much like a warning: “One of your friends is writing to some magazines about your history with my brother … I don’t think that’s wise for him to do.” And a threat: “Those pictures and your history isn’t so positive either and I’m sure you wouldn’t want that to be public as well.”
The pictures the email is referencing are some X-rated homoerotic photos that Haines, who is straight, had taken by a photographer he met online. Danny, like Britney, was at a low point in his life when he met Sam on Myspace in 2005. His professional life was in trouble, his ties with family and friends were fragile and he had secrets that he didn’t want anyone to know.
Lutfi offered to help Haines straighten out his life. “I can help you,” he said. “I can help your parents. But you need to be honest with me. If you’re lying to me about anything, I’ll know.’”
Lutfi went from being supportive one day, to being vicious the next, leaving voicemails saying “I love you, man. I love you to death,” to “You’re a worthless motherf***er,” and writing “Everybody hates you,” suggesting that Haines should just kill himself: “Seriously, sleeping pills, LOTS of them … ”
With Ken Dungey’s help, Danny was able to get away from Lutfi, however, the emotional blackmail continued.
He e-mailed naked photographs of Haines to his family, friends, colleagues and employer. Then he texted and called incessantly, telling Haines he hoped his sister would be “raped to death,” according to the restraining order. In an e-mail about Haines’s mother (“that Mormon bitch”), Lufti wrote, “I hope Satan devours her flesh and bones,” and said he looked forward to the day when he would “piss on [her] burial.”
Haines’ restraining order is one of at least three issued against Sam Lutfi which document his violent behavior.
Britney’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, have both expressed concern about Sam Lutfi’s involvement in their daughter’s life, and have urged Haines to go public with his story.

That is truly frightening. He sounds like a textbook psychopath. Psychopaths often show up when a person is weak, fragile, vulnerable. They start off with intense targeting ‘to help’, ‘to be compassionate’, but they are the furthest thing from that. They are extremely dangerous, especially when the target starts healing, showing signs of independence or of being ready to disengage. Then, they move to annihilate the target with no remorse.
I recommend Dr. Robert Hare’s book ‘Without Conscience’. This is a hallmark study on psychopaths.
I would also explore information on Narcissists, malignant narcissism. Psychopaths are narcissists. I’d also reccomend reading on Borderline Personality Disorder and see how this fits him. Borderline men are very dangerous. They start out very intensely nice and very charming, very interested - and very controlling. Many women whose husband’s or boyfriends kill them were with Borderlines.
In this case, the man is too ugly to be the object of desire, so he plays the manager/godfather role. He would have ‘worked with Adnan’ if Adnan had played the sex/romance role to better help him hold his control position, but Adnan wants all the control too. It’s a mess. Britney loves drama, but this is very dangerous.
Unfortunately, it seems to be a battle of the psychopaths between Lufti and Adnan. Britney is controlled by Lufti and addicted to Adnan. Lufti is the worse of the two I believe. He is a very dangerous character and her parents should not stand for his hijaking. Britney does not need a loony bin, those men around her do. She certainly needs protection, but from her ‘protectors’.
It is sad that Adnan plays the ’shiek of the desert Valentino’ role very well, but proves he is a lowlife by selling off her privacy and relationship with him - even as he conducts it. Poor Britney. She seems to truly feel she is worth no better. That is very sad. Adnan is a smooth con artist and seducer. He unfortunatly is another narcissist, and as such is incapable of true love. He is just playing for his agenda and his own narcissistic supply.

Obviously Lufti had a thing for Danny - couldn’t let him go - they must’ve had a sexual relationship at one time, Danny was ready to move on and Sam wouldn’t - this may put Britney in even greater danger from Sam…
