Christian Brando, son of actor Marlon Brando and Anna Kafshi, died this morning at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles at 1:47a.m.

On Monday, his attorney, Benjamin Brin, issued a statement that Brando, 49, had been hospitalized for pneumonia. “The prognosis is for a complete recovery,” Brin said, “He’s going to be OK.”

No further details are available at this time.
