Amy Winehouse’s record label announced today that she has gone into treatment and this time it is the real deal. She has come to realize that she needs specialist treatment in order to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction.

This comes after Amy met with her family, management team and doctors. A press release from the Outside Organization, the singer’s publicist, announced that Winehouse would not be attending the NRJ Awards in France this coming weekend because she has entered a rehabilitation clinic. They indicated that she plans to attend the Grammy Awards on February 10th, where she has received six nominations.

It is still undecided whether police will press charges against Amy after the wide spread release of last week’s video showing her smoking crack.
