Penelope Cruz is missing her digital camera that is said to contain a variety of private photos taken with her family and friends during a recent vacation trip in South America.

The actress was seen last week on a Brazilian beach with Javier Bardem, a fellow Spaniard and her co-star in an upcoming Woody Allen film Vicky Christina Barcelona.

Cruz filed a police report and has her lawyer contacting all of the tabloids to ensure they understand that any use of found photos could be a copyright violation and an invasion of the actresses privacy.
