Gwyneth’s Husband Involved in Paparazzi Scuffle (Video)
Gwyneth Paltrow spent a night in the hospital earlier this week. The actress was taken to New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital by her husband, Chris Martin. Paltrow was admitted for an unknown illness and the two remained at the facility overnight.
The next morning, the lead singer of Coldplay got his wife situated into their waiting vehicle and then got into an altercation with a photographer who was trying to photograph Paltrow.
The scuffle ensued when Martin said, “Let’s have some respect here.” The musician reported chased after one of the paparazzi, knocked him to the ground and wrested the camera from his. A bystander said that Martin just lost it and went after the photographer without provocation.
The photographer got to his feet, grabbed Martin around the waist and demanded his camera back. Martin eventually released the man’s equipment.

Good for Chris. People need to start running these asshole paparassi down.
Chris Martin was wrong. The paparazi did not treat Gwyneth with ‘disrespect’. If anything, he spoke in a way that was solicitous and kind. She is a celebrity and they have to expect some pictures. Chris was not a hero here, just trying to get away with being a bully. The guy with the video camera called it right.
G. did the right thing being composed and just getting in the car. Also good though that she was not being swarmed the way Britney Spears is. In that case, I would have sided with Chris. There are lines in both cases. In this instance, Mr. Martin crossed it.
To have such contempt for photographers who are not acting in a dangerous out of control way (balance in the eco-system) is bad manners for the privilege of being considered a celebrity and worthy of public interest and a photograph.
