Jessica Duran Nude Photos Spark Lawsuit

Jessica Duran is in a legal dispute with the Mesa County Jail in Boulder Junction, Colorado. She has filed a claim in excess of $100,000 against the county for allegedly distributing nude photos of her that were meant for her incarcerated husband’s eyes only.

County officials says that it is standard procedure that all inmates mail is subject to search to ensure that contraband does not get into the jail population. Things went awry from there because the photos were distributed by jailers to person’s other than Mr. Duran, the intended recipient.

A claim was filed through Denver attorney Lonn Heymann contending that Jessica Duran and her husband have suffered pain and humiliation and that the photos were distributed to others without the Duran’s express consent.

Sheriff Stan Hilkey indicates that the charges are without merit.
