Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds Marriage Not Legal

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds tied the knot in Bora Bora on New Years Day. Not so fast, say island officials. Apparently, their laws state that you must be a resident of the region for at least 30 days before a marriage can legally be performed.

Crap! Maybe the couple knew this and just wanted to get married in a beautiful and remote destination. Could be that they plan to make it legal with a U.S. judge this week

Hopefully the 25 guest that showed up for the event knew that it wouldn’t be valid before they showered the newlyweds with lavish presents.
