Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are going to be new parents, according to Daily Mail. The actress reportedly broke the news to family members over Christmas. This will be the first child for the couple, who have been married for eighteen months.

Nicole Kidman has two adopted children with actor Tom Cruise. They are Isabella Cruise, 14, and Connor Cruise, 12. That marital union ended in divorce in 2001. The couple share custody of the young teens.

Kidman’s most recently released film, The Golden Compass, is a fantasy in which she played the role of the glamorous villain Mrs. Coulter. Her performance has received wide praise. Kidman has just finished filming a romantic epic called Australia, and is spending the Christmas and New Years holiday’s in Sydney with her husband and other extended family.

Her next film project, The Reader, is scheduled to begin filming next month in Berlin. After that, she plans to spend time with her husband, country western singer Keith Urban.
