According to Daily Mail, troubled celebrity Amy Winehouse has jetted away to the beaches of the Caribbean with a group of friends. The impromptu arrangements were made only after she was assured that husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, would have no chance of being released in the near future.

Winehouse shelled out the cash so that her entourage had first class seats from London to Barbados. The singers friends report that she had Blake’s blessing to get away from the stresses of London. She’s hoping to take in some sunshine and relax. Seems like a good idea to us.

She’ll undoubtedly be working on her tan so she can look her best for the upcoming Grammy Awards. She received six nominations and will likely be on hand for the event on February 10, 2008.

Fielder-Civil is being held without bail on charges of assault and conspiracy. His next court date is January 18, 2008.
