Breaking: Record Company CEO/Rapper Bryan (Birdman) Williams Arrested
Hip Hop Label Cash Money Records CEO and rapper Bryan ‘Baby’ Williams a.k.a Birdman has been arrested after a routine traffic stop in Kingsport, TN. Williams was traveling on a tour bus which was stopped around 4:10pm.
Traffic was backed up for miles as Interstate 81 was shut down to one lane while the suspects were handcuffed and the tour bus was searched. A pound of marijuana and guns were found on the bus.
The other individuals on the bus have not been identified but include rappers who were on tour with Birdman and were on their way from New Orleans to New York.
No other details have been released. The Kingsport Police Dept. is expected to issue a press release which will be posted on this site as it becomes available.
Williams new album, 5*Stunna is set to be released on December 4. Guests on the project include Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, All Star and Yo Gotti.

Traffic was backed up for miles, I was stuck in it. I bet the cops were tipped off, why else would you pull over an ummarked Greyhound bus. I guess there’s not much for our cops to do but bust rappers heading to a gig.
To oatmeal said the cops pulled them over cause the idiots were on a tourbus changing lanes ILLEGALLY and almost ran an 18 wheeler off the road! would you rather it been an arrest or you be stuck in trafic with an abulance and life saving crew blocking you in for hours longer!
i would have to agree ,im thinking it was a tip off.i would have to see video of the bus driveing in this manner discribed.as im sure the driver was a professional driver.as are the tractor trailor drivers on the road.sullivan co,is notorious for comeing up with fraudulent accusations,in order to rouse the intended patron.we have more prosecutors, with big salaries per capa than any other county almost.
I had the pleasure to spend Thursday with them and they were very kind. The bus driver had only had 2 hours sleep since Monday night and he said that was the reason why he was weaving on the road. And he was part of the group (not a professoinal bus driver).
