It was widely reported yesterday that the Spice Girls were forced to cancel a tour date in Buenos Aires in Argentina in January due to demand in the US and Britain.

The rumor was started when a fake email was circulated and published on several websites.

The Spice Girls issued a statement denying the cancellation, but acknowledging that high demand did require them to postpone the South American show.

Tour dates will be available on the Spice Girls official website.
