This has to be the most ridiculous rumor of the week, if not the year. News of the World is reporting that Britney Spears is in the final stages of adopting Chinese twins after losing custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James to ex hubby Kevin Federline.

Friends feel that Britney has decided to adopt the two six-year-old tots from China in a frantic bid to fill the void left by losing her sons to K-Fed.

Britney Spears adopting six-year-old Chinese twins? That’s just plain crazy talk. I’m calling BS on this one.
