Two men have been arrested for attempting to blackmail a member of the British royal family with an alleged sex tape, according to the Sunday Times.

The pair reportedly approached the unnamed family member, demanding $100,000 not to publicize the video which allegedly shows the royal engaged in a sex act.

The men, aged 30 and 40, were arrested after an undercover police operation. They were ordered detained until a December 20 hearing at London’s Central Criminal Court.

The newspaper would not identify the royal family member “for legal reasons,” and Buckingham Palace, of course, had no comment.

If this sex tape ever gets leaked, we can only hope it does not involve Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. Eek! That is a truly frightening thought.
