Maxim Names Sarah Jessica Parker Unsexiest Woman
Sarah Jessica Parker not sexy? A popular U.S. men’s magazine has put together a list of the unsexiest woman and Parker tops their list.
Parker, married to Matthew Broderick, was a member of the ensemble cast of Sex in the City. Maxim.com writers compared Parker to racehorses Barbaro and Secretariat. They were incredulous that Parker had been part of a TV series with the name sex in it - calling her a very unsexy woman.
The Maxim writers didn’t stop at Parker. Runner up honors went to Amy Winehouse, singer and song writer, for her “openly hemorrhaging, translucent skin, rat’s nest hair and lashes that look like surgically attached bats.”
Sandra Oh, who plays Dr. Christina Yang on the wildly popular Grey’s Anatomy made the list because of her skinny boyish body and the Maxim writers distain for the medical show and the whole premise of “chick doctors”.
“Menoposal” Madonna came in fourth on the list due to her “decline from erotic pop goddess to old Jewish woman.”
Britney Spears rounded out the group. Maxim cited her disasterous VMA Awards show appearance this year. “She has gained two kids, lost two useless ex-husbands, and put on some pudge around the middle.”

Wicked but wittily written - and in the case of SJP, true. More irony was her promoting a scent called ‘Lovely’. She is designed to appeal to insecure women by saying she is sexy and beautiful, when they know she is not. She is just not someone who arouses any feminine envy, like Secretariat.

The list is so true! SJP is not just unsexy, she looks weird and ugly. I am glad someone finally points out that she is unsexy. Sandra oh is pretty ugly too. There are tons of beautiful asian women out there, I don’t know why they cast Sandra Oh. In asian’s standard, she is very ugly, she can only appear on the comedy. All these sound so mean, but I am sure many people would agree.
Why do women have to fit a certain “mold” or look a certain way (namely, huge boobs & bleached blonde hair)to be considered beautiful ? SJP is very beautiful & sexy in her own, original & very real way. She was adorable as Carrie on “Sex & the City” & very believable. “Maxim” is trash anyway.
In today’s society, only a youthful figure with a heaving busom, small waist, small shapely bum, and non-existent thighs is considered attractive. Let’s not forget the Renaissance Ideal, and ideals in other countries. Unfortunately, today there is so much media: magazines, billboards, t.v., movies, products we buy etc.etc. that only perpetuate this ideal. This leads many young women to feel bad about their ‘normal’ not ‘model’ bodies.Not to mention the abhorrent double-standard. Men are held in nowhere near as much scrutiny as women. Beauty is a very subjective thing, what one person holds as ugly or weird, can be considered beautiful and quirky by another….and, when did being beautiful become the only thing that is important? How would these men feel if we did a spread on the ugliest male writers of men’s magazines……the idea of the ‘unsexy’ article is hateful and hurtful from conception to execution. These piggish men deserve the backlash.
though, gotta admit thats a bad photo of sjp. winehouse was sexy before she shrunk down to a 6 and jumped on the smackmobile.

I like how they try to connect “sex in the city” with “sexy”. There are LOTS of ugly people having sex…that show featured some of those people. Kim Cattrall is the only hot chick on that show, forgiving her age.
We all still should remember, beauty is only skin deep…while ugly goes all the way to the bone.
