David Beckham is a Manly Man

While doing my rounds on the internet this morning, I came across a story on “OK!“. David Beckham was voted by “AskMen.com” readers the #1 “Man’s Man” of 2007.

When you think of a man’s man what comes to mind? Getting your hair dyed on a regular basis, manicures, pedicures, facials, body hair removal and being dressed by a stylist? Well if that’s what you were thinking then they picked the right guy.

Don’t get me wrong I really love like David Beckham, but for some reason I just don’t think of him as a man’s man. Who do you think is the biggest man’s man? I have gone ahead and added more photos of David for your viewing pleasure.

  1. STOP hackin on my Man Becks! Behind GEORGE Clooney, he is my second favorite fantasy!
In my fantasy, I dream of him leaving that woman (pirate name: Polly the Pig Faced Wench) And running off with me, Gigi the good witch…we roll through soccer fields together and he bumps his balls off my head….
Trust me, in my world…he’s more man than I ever have had….
    Sigh…

  2. He is a ‘gurrly maaahn’…. especially with that ‘do’ in the main picture which seems borrowed from a five year old girl. The addition of the earing on top is just way too much.

However, unless it is all an act, he seems to be a sweet fellow and a good husband/father, which for his iconic ‘hotness’ status (not with that hair) adds a charm to his image.

He’s been a useless overpriced soccer player over here though, unfortunately. I don’t get paying a man zillions and he doesn’t deliver the work, does nothing but pose and go shopping, but we are to overlook it because he is *precious*.

To borrow a line from A. Winehouse, No. No. No! I like a man to be handsome, but to have a brain. He seems sorely lacking in the brain department. He is just too precious and narcissistically absorbed with his preciousness to be attractive to me. Cary Grant was a manly man with style, so it can be done.

He should read ‘Cary Grant - A Celebration of Style’. He would learn a lot. CG was the male Audrey Hepburn.
