In a recent hand written statement that “E! News” obtained, Jon Voight spoke out about a recent interview his son James Haven did with “Marie Claire”.
Jon Voight is the father of Angelina Jolie and James Haven. Haven has alleged that he and his mother, Marcheline Bertrand were mentally abused by his father Jon Voight.

Abusive narcissistic parents are always amazed when their adult children have OD’d on years of their abuse and indifference and say ‘No Mas’.
Indifference is all that is left for them then if the adult child finally wakes up to the fact that they are not just reflections and sacrifices to their narcissistic parent(s). That they are not good or bad except relative to how they mirrored/flattered/pleased this parent.
After years of the child forgiving their narcissistic parent(s), trying, spilling their love onto the floor, there finally is no more. What love and life energy and time there is left in life will be better spent healing, creating, learning, recognizing hydra heads of unresolved Nparent issues, seeking out people who do not mirror Nmom or Ndad, and emotionally investing in them instead.
Mr. Voight has what he always loved and valued best - the man in the mirror.
