Prince William took his girlfriend, Kate Middleton, to Grandma’s house earlier this week. This doesn’t sound like much of a news story unless you are the future King of England and your grandmother is Queen Elizabeth.

Wills and Kate have apparently rekindled their five-year relationship and are spending some private time in the Highlands of Scotland. There is speculation that they are staying at Balmoral estate, country home of Queen Elizabeth. According to “Press and Journal” of Aberdeen, the couple got no special treatment on the flight and William took the wheel of an awaiting Range Rover as they drove away.

The pair met at St. Andrew’s University and were an item for 5 years before parting ways in April of this year. Rumors floated that Kate felt crushed under the spotlight of constant media scrutiny. The couple reconciled in July and were captured in pics at the concert for Diana that William and his brother Prince Harry hosted in memory of their late mother.

Could a royal wedding be in the cards for William and Kate? They look great together and I think Diana would approve.
