Sara Evans is Free At Last

The name calling will hopefully end now for Sara Evans and Craig Schelske. A Tennessee judge finalized the country star’s divorce on Friday.
Evans will have to pay Schelske $600,000 in alimony, with the option of making annual payments of $60,000 over 10 years, and Schelske will hang on to their two homes in Oregon. Not too shabby!
If I were Sara, I would just date from here on out or just lease her homes. She could save herself a some money.

Excuse me, but didn’t Sara Evans marry her football sweetheart several months ago? Does this mean she got married again without first being divorced from Craig? Somebody please tell me I’m not crazy. I saw her wedding pictures in People Magazine.
The article was clearly published in ‘07. So no, Sara was a free woman when she married Jay.
